Our Phat filters use proven technology to eliminate odors. They are filled with virgin carbon with high density and high adsorption performance, the best carbon on the market. The amount of carbon plays a role as does the quality, and the carbon bed in Phat filters is an actual (not rounded) 2-inch thick, providing more carbon to extend filter life.

The third member of the Phat family is the muffler. Phat Silencers are placed before or after the exhaust fans and significantly reduce the noise signal from the air leaving the fan and through the ductwork. They offer a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 85%, which is the best NRC rating of any silencer on the market. Their lightweight aluminum construction makes them very easy to hang, as well as resistant to rust.
