Phat filters have a high adsorption capacity, high density and the best charcoal on the market. Analyzes have been carried out in independent laboratories that confirm our data.
How can we know? With a simple calculation
QUANTITY OF CARBON X QUALITY OF CARBON = FILTERING CAPACITY
QUANTITY: When we say that the carbon layers of the Phat filters are 5cm thick, they are really 5cm thick. And we can say the same thing when we talk about the length of the coal seam. The size we indicate is the actual size and not “approximate” dimensions to make it appear larger. So it stands to reason that we can put more carbon in our filters than any other manufacturer.
QUALITY: The quality of Phat filters is also backed by math and science. High adsorption yield (adsorption with a “d”) is the key. * If high performance figures are obtained, it will mean a greater capacity to adsorb odours, therefore, a higher quality filter with a longer useful life. This is essential when choosing a quality carbon filter, such as a Phat filter.
* Adsorption is a surface-based process in which atoms, ions, or molecules adhere to a surface of an adsorbent product (as opposed to “absorption,” in which a fluid dissolves into another substance)
* Activated virgin carbon is a form of carbon that has been processed to remove ash and impurities from its pores. The result is a very porous material with a large surface area available for adsorption.
